'Mars' is inspired by the first color photo sent back from the surface of the red planet by the Spirit Rover in January 2004. |
| The abstract pieces below are all created with Ultra Fractal, but I've taken the additional step of using a secondary graphics program - Paint Shop Pro - to perform some post processing operations. This gives the fine outlining effect you see around the edges of the individual elements in each fractal. It's a somewhat different approach than I've used in the past. |
