A 30" by 22.5" print of Calamion was awarded first place in the 'Computer Art' category at the 2000 Puyallup Art Fair in Puyallup, Washington. With a total attendance in 2000 of 1,312,332, it's one of tha largest art fairs in North America. Many thanks to Linda Allison. Without her encouragement and support, I would not have submitted an entry. Please visit Linda's outstanding galleries: Gumbycat's Cyberhome. |

This one's a little tribute to my beloved Detroit Red Wings. It's created entirely with Ultra Fractal using a transformation called 'Shapes' written by Red Williams. Shapes gives you control over basic geometric figures and allows non-fractal looking images to be assembled, with a little patience, a little practice, and some basic understanding of the use of solid coloring techniques. |
