These are the first flames I ever made. In the early days of Apophysis, I enjoyed making these stark, ostensibly simple types of flames. To me, they are evocative in a way that is entirely different from more complex fractals. In this gallery I offer a sampling of 30 of them, but there are actually 245 on the site. To see all 245, you have two options.
