I used to have an entire web site with information about myself, but I took it down (for now) because honestly I do not like to toot my own horn. It just feels... icky. But short bio blurbs seem to be the standard for this sort of art collection, and I must make do.
Sometime far back in history, I was born in England. This event passed without much fanfare and for that I'm grateful. I was introduced to fractals in middle school, mostly as a mathematical curiosity, but it has triggered a deep connection for me to how these patterns connect the physical world to mathematics.
Throughout my time of creating using fractals I have made a few contributions to fractal art. I have written widely-used formulas, curated sites, and managed contests and exhibitions. For the past few years I've been working on some new fractal-related projects which are not currently visible.
I currently live in Orlando with my wife and children, and work in the tech industry. In addition to fractal art, I read, write, game, cook, walk, swim, draw, sculpt, code, compose and&em;when necessary&em;talk.
