All these images were generated with Fractal Elite, the True Color version of Terry W. Gintz' program. Like Fractint,  Fractal Elite has many built-in fractal types and a lot of coloring schemes based on a 236 colors palette as well as a True Color mode that works by interpolating between these colors.   Fractal Elite can read most of the formulas and parameters created for Fractint.   Its anti-aliasing function greatly improves the quality of the images. The following 9 images, initially obtained with Fractint, were regenerated in True Color, using anti-aliasing.   The artifacts visible in these images are only due to the JPEG compression.
